Veterinarians

All of our veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medicine Association. Many have specialty certifications.
Dr. Sharon L. Moore, DVM

Dr. Sharon L. Moore, DVM

Sharon Moore is the owner and visionary behind what is new at Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic. She spent hours upon hours designing and planning a new space for a fabulous old practice with lots of existing clients. She wanted to increase the space without changing what was great about the old practice: personal service and affordable pet care.

Dr. Moore graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 1983. She received the Armistead Award for Outstanding Veterinary Student and the Chancellor’s Citation for Extraordinary Academic Achievement in 1982. She's a member of the Society of Phi Zeta, Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine, and Gamma Sigma Delta, Honor Society of Agriculture. She became a partner at Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and sole proprietor in 2007. Dr. Moore is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Moore likes sharing activities with her husband, Michael, and daughter, Katie. The Moores enjoy travel, scuba diving, horseback riding, and church. They have cats, horses, cattle, and a Sheltie named Aggie.

Dr. Katie L. Williams

Dr. Williams was born and raised in Richmond, Texas. As the daughter of Dr. Sharon Moore, she spent her childhood learning and growing at Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic. She rode rodeo, showed horses and pigs winning several state titles, was an active member and President of the Foster High School FFA program, and was involved with the Fort Bend County Fair for many years, including Fair Queen in 2008.

She attended Texas A&M University as an Animal Science major where she was a member of the 2010 National Champion Wool Judging Team as well as being the Individual National Champion. She was also a member of the 4 person National Champion Animal Science Academic Quadrathlon team in 2012. She graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Williams graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 2017 and was excited to return home to her family practice. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and internal medicine and looks forward to spending many years helping to grow the practice that has been such a huge part of her childhood.

Outside of work, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her husband, Jacob. They have 2 fur babies: Jazz, an Australian Cattle Dog, and Pippin, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has recently begun his AKC show career.

Dr. Morgan Drozd

Dr. Morgan Drozd

Dr. Morgan Drozd was born and raised in the Rosenberg area and began her veterinary career as a technician at Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Texas A& M University in 2014. After graduation, Dr. Drozd worked at a small animal practice in Katy for 4 years before returning to the Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic family in June 2018. Dr. Drozd has special interests in dentistry and feline medicine and her cases primarily involve cat and dog medicine and surgery.

Dr. Drozd is a member of several organizations:

• American Veterinary Medical Association
• Texas Veterinary Medical Association
• American Association of Feline Practitioners

In her time away from the office Dr. Drozd enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and daughter Rory. They have three cats named Rupert, Guinness, and Ember and a German Shorthair Pointer named Spencer.

Dr. Jake Boehnke

Texas born and Aggie Raised; Dr. Jake Boehnke comes from Tomball Texas. In high school he was involved in FFA; raising show pigs and competing in wildlife competitions. In his spare time he was actively involved in Boy Scouts where he earned his Eagle Scout rank. During this time, he started working at local veterinary clinics to pursue his love of science and animals. 
 
Following the family tradition, he attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. He was then accepted to the Veterinary program and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Texas A&M graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Boehnke has an interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. During his time at vet school, he was also involved in the internal medicine club and veterinary business management association.  
 
Dr. Boehnke has a passion for the great outdoors and enjoys spending time camping with his wife Taylor. He also enjoys spending time with family and his cat, Tim.

Dr. Emily Tran

Dr. Emily Tran

Dr. Emily Tran was born and raised in Houston, TX. She is a proud first-generation Aggie, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a Biology major. She stayed at A&M and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Texas A&M in 2021. She is passionate about preventative care for pets and has special interests in feline medicine and critical care.
 
Outside of work, Emily loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also loves to cook new recipes, re-watch sit-coms, and read in her spare time. Her life at home is run by her sassy tortoiseshell cat, Snickers and her new puppy, Ollie.
 
She is excited to be joining the Rose-Rich team in June 2021 and caring for the furry members of your family!

Dr. Richard Croft

Dr. Richard Croft, a native Houstonian, graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 1985. Soon after, he became a partner with a multi-doctor veterinary practice in Katy, Texas, where he spent the next 35 years. Wanting to care for pets closer to his home in Sugar Land, Dr. Croft is thrilled to meet and greet his neighbors at Rose-Rich. Dr. Croft has been married for 40 years to his wife, Donna. They have two sons and a brand new grandson! Along with four birds, they have a rescue sheltie named Spirit. 

In his free time, you can find Dr. Croft at his ranch near Round Top feeding his cows and growing vegetables in his garden. Dr. Croft has a passion for working with people and pets which makes him an awesome addition to the Rose-Rich team! Along with treating cats and dogs, we are delighted to announce that he will also see exotics such as pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and rabbits!

Dr. Caroline Jennings

Dr. Caroline Jennings

Dr. Caroline Jennings was born and raised in Richmond, TX. She attended Lamar Consolidated schools and graduated from George Ranch High School in 2016. She graduated from Texas A&M University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019. She then attended the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, graduating in July 2023.

She is passionate about small animal medicine, particularly small animal cardiology and internal medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Jennings is an avid runner, having completed several marathons, and is a huge Houston Astros fan. She has two cats, Winston and Teddy, who were adopted from Rose-Rich in 2022.

She is very excited to join the Rose-Rich team in summer 2023.

Dr. Gaby Torres

Raised in the Houston area, Dr. Gaby Torres attended George Ranch High School where she got her veterinary assistant certification through a partnership with Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2019. She then returned to Rose-Rich to work as a veterinary technician and improve her hands-on skills for a year before returning to Texas A&M University Veterinary School. There she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2024. Dr. Torres has a special interest in surgery and critical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Torres enjoys hiking with her dog, Soleil, playing music, and spending time with family. She also has a black cat, Lunetta, and a Bengal, Chiara, that keep her well-entertained at home.

She is very excited to join the Rose-Rich team in May 2024.
