Pet Boarding Information and Forms

Pet Boarding Policies

For your pet’s comfort and safety while at the Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic, we have the following boarding policies:

In order to protect your pets, as well as those belonging to other people, we require verifiable or written proof that your pet is up to date on the following vaccinations:

Dogs: DHLP-P / rabies / Bordatella / CIV bivalent
Cats: FVRCP / rabies

Rose-Rich promotes a flea and tick-free environment. If fleas and / or ticks are noted on your pet(s) upon arrival, an appropriate preventative will be administered. We use Capstar (a quick-kill flea treatment) to treat fleas at a cost of $5.00 to $8.00 and a topical quick kill tick treatment at a cost of $22.00 to $26.00.

After admission to the hospital boarding facility, all pets will receive a brief physical exam (at no charge) by the veterinary assistant. In cases of illness or injury, these problems will be brought to the attention of the doctor, who will examine your pet (at additional expense) and decide on a course of treatment. We will make an effort to contact you, but in rare circumstances, treatment may be necessary and instituted to stabilize or treat your pet even if you cannot be contacted.

Please download, print, and complete the forms below and bring them in at the time of boarding.

Additional Policies

Bath Policy
Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic does not provide a complimentary bath with boarding, but we offer a go-home bath at the following discounted charges:
  • 20 lbs. and under - $15.00
  • 30 lbs. and under - $17.00
  • 65 lbs. and over - $19.00
We also have a full-service grooming salon. We can coordinate a go-home grooming appointment on your pet’s departure date. These appointments are available Monday through Friday, and the grooming appointment should be scheduled at the time of drop-off or when the boarding appointment is made. Grooming appointments are limited to the space available.

Feeding
Rose-Rich feeds Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach. You are welcome to bring your pet’s food and any treats that he / she is used to eating at home. This is especially important if your pet is on a medically necessary diet. Please label your pet’s food with the name of your pet and a description (K/D, Modified LP, etc.) of food.

Medications
Please be sure to leave complete instructions with the receptionist regarding medications to be given during your pet’s stay. Include the name, size, and dose of the medication. Let us know at the time of drop-off if you’ll be needing a refill of your pet’s medication so that we can have that ready for you.

Drop-Offs
You may drop off your pet(s) between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am and 11:30 am on Saturdays.

Pick-Ups
You may pick up your pet(s) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, unless you have requested an exit bath. If receiving an exit bath, pets can be picked up from 3:00 to 5:00. Weekend pickup hours are from 8:00 am and 11:30 am on Saturdays, excluding holidays. You will be informed of the holiday hours at the time of drop-off. There are no Sunday pick-up hours.

Please take your collars, leashes, and carriers with you when you drop off your pet. We will do our best to keep track of toys and blankets but cannot guarantee their return. To help us return your pet’s blanket, toys, bedding, etc., we ask that you allow us to label it with a permanent marker.

Our hospital offers boarding you can trust. If your dog has any medical conditions that need evaluation or treatment, this can be done while your pet is boarding. Inform the receptionist of any special requirements, long-term illness, or medications and any additional services that need to be performed. There are veterinarians and technicians on site to manage your pet’s special needs.

All fees and charges are due at the time of pick-up. In some cases of long-term boarding or hospitalization, a deposit will be required.
